Besan Ladoo

Besan Ladoo - Besan Ladoo is a traditional Indian sweet recipe that is made especially during Diwali Festival. A perfect besan ladoo melts in the mouth which gives you a divine experience.


Ingredients:
- 2 cup besan
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar powder (Rock sugar) 
- 10 Almonds
- 10 cashew nuts
- 10-15 raisins
- 5-6 walnuts

Method:
1. Take a heavy bottom pan & add ghee to it.
(Make sure to keep the flame low)

2. Once the ghee melts, add the besan and mix it well and continue roasting it for 15 minutes by stirring it continuously.
(You will notice that the mixture will start releasing ghee, the colour slightly changes to golden, mixture gets into paste like consistency and the room will be filled with nice aroma. This means the besan is perfectly cooked.)

4. Transfer the roasted besan into a large mixing bowl and allow it to cool down completely.

5. Chop the dry fruits and add it to the roasted besan.
(You can slightly dry roast the nuts and raisins if you want to.)

6. Once the roasted besan has cooled down add the powdered sugar and mix it nicely using a spoon or hand till everything is combined well.

7. You will get a smooth besan dough. 

8. Now start making medium sized ladoo by gently rolling it between your palm and enjoy this ladoo with your friends and family.
