Vegan Cheese Dip - Dips are the magic topping that adds extra flavour to our food. Be it fries, pizzas, sandwiches, or rolls, all are incomplete without our favourite dip. But those who have turned vegan always miss those cheesy dips, but no more missing.
Try this mouthwatering dip made with cauliflower, which gives it the ideal cheesy texture.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cauliflower
- 4 garlic clove
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon pepper powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ cup cashew nuts
- juice of 1 lemon
- salt as per taste
Method
1. Soak the cashew nuts in hot water for an hour or you can soak it overnight too.
2. Take a pan, add 3-4 cups of water, add one spoon of salt, and bring it to a boil. Once the water starts to boil, add the cauliflower and allow it to cook for about 10-12 mins until it becomes soft. Once cooked, strain the water and keep the cooked cauliflower aside. Let it cool down a bit.
3. Next, take a mixer jar and add cooked cauliflower, garlic cloves, red chilli powder, oregano, pepper powder, lemon juice and salt as per requirement and blend it until you get a smooth, creamy texture.
4. Serve the vegan cheesy cauliflower dip alongside any cuisine of your choice.
